The fiftieth season of Toronto Maple Leafs baseball in the Intercounty Baseball League will kick off on May 6th at Christie Pits. The London Majors will be in town for the semicentennial home opener.
The Leafs will play 18 home games this summer, comprising of 13 Sunday afternoons and five Wednesday nighters.
Highlights on the 2018 calendar include:
- a couple of Saturday afternoon trips down the QEW to Burlington, in late May and late June
- a weekend home & home series against the reborn Guelph Royals in early June
- a couple of rare Tuesday night jaunts to Hamilton in June and July
- an even rarer Canada Day home game against the Cardinals
- early July home and away rematches against the Brantford Red Sox, who eliminated the Leafs from the postseason last year
- a Wednesday night regular season finale against Barrie at Christie Pits
