Washed Out Weekend
The Toronto Maple Leafs had their entire weekend of games rained out.
Friday night in London, and today's game at Christie Pits against Brantford were wiped out by rainy weather. Add to that a rainout in Hamilton last Friday.
None of these games have been officially rescheduled yet, but it's looking like the Leafs will have to play a bunch of makeup doubleheaders this summer. Toronto's only other trip to London is on Canada Day, and Brantford is scheduled to make their final trip to the Pits on July 5. It's possible that doubleheaders will happen on both days, but nothing has been confirmed yet. No word on when the Hamilton rainout will be made up.
A makeup doubleheader against the Guelph Royals is already scheduled for Christie Pits on Sunday, June 21st.
The Leafs' next game is at Christie Pits this Wednesday, June 17 when they host the Hamilton Cardinals.
