If necessary.

Over the past decade, only three clubs have won the IBL championship: the current two-time champion Barrie Baycats, the Brantford Red Sox (7) and the Toronto Maple Leafs (1).

Last year, the Leafs and Sox squared off in the first round of the playoffs.  The Leafs burst out of the gate with wins in Game 1 and Game 2.  Brantford came back to win Game 3 at home, and they were poised to even the series until Toronto overcame a 12-run deficit for an epic victory in Game 4.  The Sox refused to quit, but the Leafs won another slugfest in Game 5 to take the series.

A year later, and these ballclubs will face off once again.

Both rosters are relatively unchanged from last year, with a few additions and subtractions here and there.

The Leafs won this year's season series three games to two.

Toronto finished the season by going 6-4 in their final 10 games, while Brantford went 4-6.

As a team, the Leafs batted .307 this season, while Brantford averaged .295.

Team ERAs were 5.81 for Toronto and 5.23 for Brantford.

Toronto are more of a slugging team, while Brantford has the pitching.  Last year, we said it was a toss up and the Leafs romped in five.  This year... gotta say it's a toss up again.

The stats sheets are wiped clean for the playoffs and anything can happen.  Let's do this!
