The Toronto Maple Leafs' legendary home field is getting an upgrade.
Renovations to Dominico Field at Christie Pits will be taking place this off-season, according to a report in The Gleaner.
The "Christie Pits Concept Plan" (above) reveals plans for new outfield fences. A 12-foot-high fence will wrap around the outfield, and a shorter six-foot fence will go from the corners to the infield. A new warning track will also be installed.
According to sources, the long-rumoured retractable roof addition remains mired in the fundraising stage.
